they are muscovies.

i have my broody hen on them, so no. i tried to get her in the bath tub yesterday so she could moisen them as told by duckyfromoz.. that didn't work so when she was out still, i took a container of warm water and sprinkled some water on them, i was attacked the whole time i did that, and then attack more after, i have bruises on my ankles from my ankle biter. after getting her in the tub to fail, duckyfromoz told me to get a spray bottle filled with warm water and mist mommy duck so i have been doing that today. i just did that for the 4th time today, when iwent to check and nothing is going on with them.

keep in mind that my ducks are in my bedroom.... the pen is almost done being built, but i don't want to move my drake out without his mate because i don't want him to get stressed. but he leaves the room when she comes out to eat, drink, bathe, and poop

The old saying is don't count you chickens before they hatch. for you we will make it don't sell your ducklings before they hatch. BTW I would get that Muscovy drake away from the duck before they hatch. Drakes are really not part of the normal duck family and SOME Muscovy drakes are known to kill their own young. With him being so much bigger than she is, it would be easy for him.

ohhh the drake is already planned to stay away from everyone when they hatch. he has a separate room, he goes in there when mom comes out. he's only in here when i am here because he is my little buddy and has been a good drake as far as attacking me goes. i didn't expect them to have a zero hatch rate. i was told my my parents to sell them asap because we can not have more than 3 ducks.

i'm just wondering if i should be completely stessed out like i am. did i really lose all my eggs???

Those eggs I put in about a week after Quackers started sitting are mostly all pipped now.
I remember the first few days..You said she was sitting..then not...... that went on for a few days...Maybe you are counting from before she was sitting on them all day and night.. But you should be seeing some kind of action by now.

I wish I could be there for you to show you how to check for life in those eggs.

i wish too. it's really hard for me to stop the tears from streaming down my face right now. i am 99% sure she started on easter. but i wasn't here, so maybe it was the day after. even then, that's 36 days. but i know the day after easter she didn't get up at all! not even to eat, drink, or poop. she didn't get up for 2 days at that point. i hear her talking right now..... she's coming out lets seee what i can find!!!!

i'm done freaking out, we have a few pips and beaks in air sacs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yay i am sooooo excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i can stop crying now!!!!!!!!!!!!
