Also I have a 360 nurture right that's stuck on 99.0 not going to the 99.5. Temp of the room it's in is 70ish. And it's sealed correctly. It's a newish incubator so I can return it but im scared the time it takes to drive to TSC and back might kill the eggs. Thanks for always being a great community yall

Do you have a separate thermometer inside the incubator and if so, when/how was it last calibrated?

I personally wouldn't worry too much about an incubator being half a degree colder than is ideal, so long as I knew that temperature was accurate.

Regarding your concern - if you have already started the eggs in the incubator in question and have verified with a separate, calibrated thermometer that the temperature is not hitting your target I would suggest instead of trying to pause the eggs while you make the exchange (it will take time not only to go there and back but also to get the new unit up and stabilized) that you go and purchase the new unit, get it stable, move the eggs and *then* return the first to get that money back - if, of course, you are able to do so comfortably with regards to your finances in the meantime

Also - not really clear what you are asking/wanting information wise because your title seems to be asking if the egg is fertilized (and, yes, the photo you included shows a fertilized egg) - but your text is all about the issue of the incubator?

When you say it is stuck on 99 - is that the built in thermometer or are you using a secondary thermometer that you have properly calibrated to verify accuracy?
I have a second thermometer in there. They're both reading the same. My other incubator is reading accurate at 99.5 but this one is staying at 99

I wouldn't expect it to be too much of an issue, other than maybe causing them to hatch slightly later than expected, if it really is only half a degree out.

It's two questions
