The coop is a total of 8 feet long. (From Hen house to the end of the run) The henhouse is big enough for my 6 girls. The run was a little small for my taste, so my husband and dad made a yard for my girls. The yard is covered with bird netting to keep hawks and owls away.

WOW! Beautiful set-up!!!
(I would turn the roosting board 'wide-side-up' though..........chickens don't 'hold onto' a roosting board like a sparrow holds onto a branch, but
like to have their feet 'flat' on the board....so they can hunker down their bodies over their feet, to keep them warm in winter!)
Other than that......................LUCKY CHICKENS!!!!

nice coop!!! one suggestion that i learned, put the roost higher that the nest boxes if possible. otherwise they will be roosting in or on top of the nest boxes

Yea they have been roosting on top of the nesting boxes, but that really doesn't bother me. Whatever makes them happy, makes me happy.
