At My Desk!
Slightly cross beaked but mostly overshot. Even the toughest roos in the barnyard all run from him after some cackling and warning sounds. He just runs right up to them, too, No fear at all. BTW, he DOES have an eye on the other side. I normally do not hang onto deformities but some creatures just want to live.

Bless his heart! That has to be the most hideous chicken I have seen in a while. Sorta looks like an Eagle who lost his last fight. If he wants to live, let him live!

Why don't you grab him up and trim that beak to make things a little easier for him.....? What the heck! It might do him some good!

He only looks like an eagle because of the white head. Looks undershot to me. Just trim his beak. I like him already. In time the others will get used to him and hopefully he will make a friend. He needs a tough, solid name(unless he is a pullet) like Armstrong or Wolfgang or Beowolf. How old is he?she? I think it's a very good sign that they run from him instead of attack him which would be the normal thing. He is meant to be!

I have already hit the blood supply a couple of times on the lower beak. Any further and I would be cutting into flesh from the underside. He is a couple of months old. The way he drinks is something else. He grabs beakfulls and then sloshes it to back of his throat.
