For auction are a mix of 12 lav split silkies (1+ months old) from my PI pen (full Lav roo over what I thought were all buff lav splits) , and 4 whites which oddly hatched from my PI pen as well (see a comment I made on the lav (self blue) silkie thread) Anyway the whites turn out really nice and below the chick pics are some splits from the same parents to show how they will fill in. Feet look very good on almost all of them, and one has a very slight cross beak, but it will not effect life at all and is hard to even notice. Almost all have big vaulted sculls. You can have both a lavender project flock as well as a white flock with this group of chicks.

All were vaccinated for Mareks as day olds and were isolated for the first 10 days. They are a little dirty in the pics as I just fed everyone a bran and buttermilk mix and rather than eat it nicely they bathed in it. lol Pics taken on 1/10/11

They will ship in a new box express with grow gel and/or shredded apples for the journey. I will only ship weather permitting on both ends this included below freezing temps. I have 24 hour heat pads and will be fixing one to box. I also have shipping waterers and will use one if the express trip will take more than 24 hours. I welcome pick ups! Cost of shipping with box is $50.

I am not certified but I have had a closed flock/s for well over a year now and practice very strict bio security. I have had my birds tested and the only thing I personally have had to deal with so far is Mareks which is why I now vaccinate. I raise all my birds using only certified organic feed and organic remedies/treatments.

Please E-mail me at [email protected] as I am swamped with work and family stuff and have not had time to be on BYC much these days.

Lavender Roo and Buff/Lav splits (obviously some carrying a funky gene hence these weird colors) where the splits came from
