We are a third grade class who has decided to raise and brood some chickens as part of the learning in our class.
We got the eggs from our teacher's dad's farm. We started with 11 eggs and so far 5 have hatched and we have one more pipping.
ONe was born less healthy though. He was the first to hatch ane he had an exposed yolk sack. We left him in the incubator and he seemed to do ok -- He has absorbed it all except a pea. Ina nother post a member told he though that would be ok. But now there is second problem.
He doesn't seem to be able to straighten his neck. HE gets up and tries to walk and his neck stays pointed toward the ground and he just drags it. He seems to be moving less and less.
Here is a picture of him.
Is ther enaything we can do to help him?
