Well I can't believe it has been a week, well almost a week, at 4:28 am tonight/tomorrow the first puppy was born. They are all doing great, and Annie is being a great mommy. They had there first vet visit on monday and he said everyone looked fine. Annie is still having some discharge but he said nothing to worry about as long as its not green, red or bad smelling. She has started, yesterday and today, leaving them for longer times, up to a half hour. There are twice as many teats as pups yet they always seem to be fighting over one teat. Also seems like a couple of her teats are much fuller then the others, we try to put a pup on them as often as possible but they will often leave them for a different teat. Is that a issue? She is eating well, she is up to Two cans of canned food a day (alpo as I am waiting for my blue buffalo canned to come in the mail) as well as 8oz of taste of the wild dry food. She also has dry food available all day, but generally will only nibble a piece here and there.

Puppy1 Red Girl
She is a active girl, doesn't like to lay by the others and isn't one of the big gainers.
Weights:6/11=12.41; 6/12=13.90; 6/13=16.20; 6/14=18.50; 6/15=20.45
Puppy 2 Green girl (removed her collar last night, but still call her green to differentiate)
She is a quiet girl, very easy going, likes to lay on her back and has been toward the top of the weight scale till orange beat her.
Weights:6/11=13; 6/12=13.85; 6/13=16.70; 6/14=18.60; 6/15=21.00
Puppy 3 Squealer (was blue girl for first day)
The nosiest pup, she was smallest for the first few days, but with us continually putting her on teat, she gained the most yesterday.
Weights: 6/11=11.80; 6/12=12.65; 6/13=15.30; 6/14=17.30; 6/15=20.10
Puppy 4 blue boy (Brawny= Brutus(dad) and Annie(mom), my father in laws pup)
He is a calm puppy. Very easy going, and the pictures do not do him justice he is a big boy and very sweet.
Weights: 6/11=14oz; 6/12=13.85; 6/13=16.60; 6/14=19.35; 6/15=21.50
Puppy 5 orange girl
She is our favorite pup. Loves to snuggle with us. She is a great girl, despite her hard start, she has been a top gainer.
Weights: 6/11=13oz; 6/12=13.85; 6/13=16.60; 6/14=19.20; 6/15=21.85 (she is currently the biggest)

Thanks for looking, I think we will remove the rest of the collars at the weigh in tonight, we are doing well at telling them apart now, and today would be the day to change them otherwise. I kept their first ones, we had to change them the second day.
