What plants do chickens like?

So far everything but day lilies.

The list of what they don't eat is shorter. Large shrubs, bushes, daylilies and ornamental grasses are still alive, some tattered, from my chickens. They also jumped up and ate the buds and leaves on my willow trees. I'm planting a more "chicken proof" perennial garden this year.
My vegetable garden is fenced.

Yes the do seem to like the willow. They also peck here and there at the beauty bush and the winterberry; none to the detrement. They have exhibited zero interest in the azaleas, spireas and barberry and only the occasional disinterested peck here and there on the rhododendron and mountain laurel. If you want to really interest them, give them bushes that will produce berries that they will like. Right now they love to eat bugs around my blueberry, gooseberry and strawberry, but only eat a few of the leaves...of course they are also all the way across the yard versus next to their coop. However, when they fruit I think the girls will take much more interest in them.

Mine won't eat dandilions, chives, hostas, holly bushes or other evergreens. Nearly everything else in my garden has been eaten. (which is why we're madly building a chicken run!!!)

My girls absolutely adore chickweed. Maybe that explains the name? They go on chickweed hunts all over the yard, and eat it down to the dirt.

They have also eaten my sugar pea plants. They especially love the pods I am drying to save for seed.
