Genetic Question about Splash Silkie's

I have been getting splash chicks from my blue & blacks but they are different from what I have seen. They feather in almost a self-blue coloring and stay that way till they are about 5 months old about 5 months old they start getting their spots but they are small like dot sizes all over the body and they are white almost snow white instead of a blueish coloring. Is this normal for splash because I have only had and saw the blueish coloring splash and dark splash. Any help on this?
 
or her blue could be a splash. but we'd all like to see pictures

Ok here is the thing...Parents are black and blue ...Offspring look blue I kept those offspring they look to be a dark blue I added them with some of my blacks...I have hatched out only a few of their chicks out of the few I hatched were a lavender color.

These guys look like this the oldest being about 4-5 months old now. Just now getting its spots.

Here is dad. Not sure on his color just always said he is blk with alot of gold lacing I have been told he is many different colors but I am unsure
