I was lucky enough to witness our first egg. When I let the chickens out this morning
I noticed one of my hens acting a little different. Out of concern I stayed and watched her for a
while to make sure she was fine. Little did I know that she was about to lay her first egg for me.
Checking out the nesting buckets. "This is kind of cozy."
looking at the fake eggs that I placed in the buckets a few weeks earlier. " Looks like someone has already been here."
Inspecting the back of the bucket. "Hmmm, No holes, this might work."
A few minutes later, 1 egg.!!!!!!

I am so excited to finally be getting eggs, then to witness the first one being layed was
