We had a coop building party today, not very many people, but we got a TON done, and had a blast. Purplechicken, drumstick, moodusnewchick, and Henrietta23 came. Moodus brought 2 friends and Henrietta23 brought her husband James, and son Alex. Moodusnewchick brought four 9 week old cornish crosses to process. And those things were HUGE! Some of the meat birds we ordered where here so PC took 22, moodus took 6 and I got the other 22, we have 50 more coming in 2 weeks. We're planning on having a huge processing party. Maybe even a BYC sleepover

Don't know why the quality came out so bad, it looks fine on my computer, must be youtube.

Just a little question - was that cluckity cluck with a slight gurgle sound from the decapitated bird? Or was that coming from somewhere else?

in reference to the video, of course.

The cluck was from a prowling duck I believe.

Thanks for the compliment but it was MoodusNewChick and PP who did all the
work. I stood around watching with a beer in my hand.

I sorta cringe as I watch that movie since me and Drum are being silly. I hope no one
thinks we think culling is a joke. We just like to have fun with whatever we are doing.

Yes it is a turkey fryer. It works well because the top of the pot spreads out so when
you dunk a bird you don't lose your water. The pot is also really big and the propane
heats fast and is easy to control.

Then when you're all don you can fry a chicken. Yumm
