Harry he looks a bit girly..LOL..but he should work well mated up with our Double Tufted black Tailed LF araucana hens(aka~Quetros),
then there split off spring will be mated to
our already started lavender araucana project which right now has a lavender roo being mated to black clean faced and rumpless LF Araucana(aka~Collonocas)..

That way all the genes arent coming into one breediing (genes: lavender, rumpless and lethal tufted trait, blue egg gene)

We'll then mate split to split from each breeding pens and other combos next year sometime..Remember Harry any off spring will be welcomed to you, if by chance you need anything we have..this will include are lavender orps offspring to (splits, full lavender)..

When can i get him, got a nice pen already for him...
Harry thank you for offering him

Charlie

Cool! I grow lavender, so wondering if this bird is available as a hen? If so, do you know the laying habits?

thanks!

Harry, thank you so much for my new baby boy...I love him.

He is such a sweetie and so perty. I can't wait to get him with some ladies to get the next phase of our araucana project going. He's going to fit in great here once he gets through quarantine.

Chicabee - I am sure Harry has ladies, but we will need to create them here. This little fella will be a great asset to help us with that. The araucana are typically very good layers, when they are not broody. lol Some are very broody.

Jody

Chicabee,
Yes, I have two pullets just like him but they are keepers for next year breeding to my black double tufted rumpless LF roosters. The one pullet lays just about every day and lays an egg that is considered blue/green closely resembling a robins egg. HS
