Fellow Okies:
As you may know, we are planning a meeting on April 25 at the Choctaw, OK Kampgrounds Of America. I know we will have a lot of bird swapping going on, and I thought we could all plan better what to bring and what we might be buying if each of us posted it on here.
If you just want to chat, or have other input on our meetup, please limit those posts to the "Okies in the BYC" thread.
If you have birds of any age or hatching eggs that you can bring to sell post it here!
If you are looking for particular birds or hatching eggs, post it here!
Enjoy

Great idea Graceful. I will be bringing my pair of BTW Japanese, my Modern Game Rooster and I believe a Silver Duckwing. I think that is what she is anyway.

I'm interested in getting a pair of turkey poults, RIR's and some Buff Orpington's. Can be newly hatched!

I am very interested in this! I'm in NE OK. I will be looking to buy (have nothing to trade right now) some guineas, geese, dark egg layers (esp. wellsummers and golden cuckoo marans), also looking for some ameraucanas.

Is anyone going to be there to do pullorm(sp?) testing for those people who have NPIP flocks? I think nnbreeder is certified to do testing.

Wants:

Bantam Modern Game birds or eggs
Marans - doesn't everyone
SQ Bantam Black Cochins
SQ Bantam Black Wyandottes
SQ Bantam Brown Leghorns

Could possibly have:

LF Buff Orpington pullets and roos
Bantam Birchen Cochins
Bantam Black Wyandotte egg or two
Bantam Brown Leghorn eggs
Muscovy eggs
Crested mutt duck eggs

SC, I do not know if they are planning to have a tester there or not. It is not necessary to have birds NPIP certified just to bring them into your NPIP flock (it is preferred, but not absolutely necessary). The new birds would just be tested with your previous birds whenever your certification comes due.
...Sorry if that was not exactly what you were asking
