KDCRWS...........guess what.....Winter laid her first egg today. An olive egg,
I don't know who was more proud, her or the kids. Lord I hope this doesn't mean she is moving back in the house
She even has her own special "come to us" call sound we have to use. DD taught her that.
I think a royal demand went out throughout the house "We have to keep this egg". So now I get to blow the egg out, lol. I haven't taken a pic yet, DH barely made it in the house before the egg was thrust in his face. He was impressed too, "so how do we get more olive egg layers". Explained it to him, you could see his mind churning with ideas. He is so getting addicted too

I am with you LilEmilysChknPen! My hubby won't even go to the Swap Meet with me! I have to make the 2 1/2 hour trip alone! Well, I will have some chicks riding shotgun!
They just can't ride in the back of the truck!
