CENTRAL FLORIDA SWAP MEET for June 20, 2009

I can't help you with the pricing of your birds but I can tell you that there is no fee to the host. OK maybe chocolate cake or something, I don't know lol.

Not sure if we are doing a pot luck at this swap or not, if we are you just post what you want to bring food wise, or utensils or drinks or whatever.

Bring your birds with some sort of enclosure/kennel for them. Food, water, a drop cloth or tarp to set the cage on for biosecurity purposes and with the warmer months, something to shade them if necessary.

Lawn chairs are nifty to have so you can sit around and chit-chat.
It is a pretty friendly, relaxed atmosphere. A nice family get together of sorts.

PRC if those buff cochins pullets are LF I would like to have dibs on them.
Can't help you with pricing though.

I have 2 Buff Cochins in with the silkies, They are too big to be in the new hen house and will be alone. So if I TRADE them, I will still be at my limit. LOL! Are you interested in trading? And they are LF. VERY LF, LOL! They are about 8-10 weeks and already as big(or at least fluffy) as my other grown birds. I figure if I am gonna have light layers, I would rather have silkies. And they are out-growing the hutch they are in and I am not ready to build another coop anytime soon.

Oh, BTW... EVERBODY has fallen in love with the Silkie!! She was named Marilyn, And is being spoiled rotten!! Thanks for her! She is beautiful! She definately stand out in my flock.

I could potentially be persuaded to trade.

In that case everyone must take one rooster when you leave as my parting gift

Anyhow, I have plenty of parking and will probably just go ahead and post directions so anyone can ask questions if they need to...
