Lisa...

Man I have been looking all over for that frizzle! I wanted to show my family the turken who lays green eggs. . . I'm excited!

Hi! 'Treasure' was my very first NN Frizz green-egger hatched here and is still a special boy.
Quite a long haul from these NN pullets:

that are the 'mothers' of every naked neck here! They were fabulous layers of great large brown eggs, but I just don't like brown/tan/buff colored chickens and didn't keep them long (they went to a friend and are STILL in her layer flock at almost 5 yrs old).
I have NN eggs available. Email if interested.

For last few weeks I've been either just tossing eggs in trash or feeding back to hens. Only plan to set eggs from a few hens this spring, so if you or anybody wants some, just let me know(possibly could do hatches for local pick-ups if someone wants chicks instead of eggs). The black and cuckoo hens in pictures above are laying right now. I think the big blue pullet(not in pic) is going to start laying soon.. she is bigger and deeper bodied.

For now, $5 for a doz eggs would be okay. Blue/green eggs would be 10 for a doz.. I have no idea how much shipping costs nowadays.. does anybody know?

p.s. the hens laying blue/green eggs are black, blue, blue tail buff. With this rooster, most chicks will come out black or barred but also some blues, blue barred, possibly a few buffs or buff barred. All of them have single combs.

I might be getting them from a farm about an hour from my house. But we'll see.
If not from there I'll see if I can get some at the spring auctions
