First thought I had was, background looks like where I grew up... Concord California! (well we were more like in Clayton) the hills look the same kind of green and the trees to match! Thanks for the flash back.
Oh yeah and very nice coop, happy chickens come from California.

My plan is to have a clean area and a chicken area. The clean area has access to the nest boxes with a lid as well as hold the chicken supplies and garden tools. The coop is right next to my garden pit.
I am going to enclose the coop inside the garden perimeter fence and then fence off the coop from the garden pit. Then I'll cover the chicken area with aviary netting to keep the red tail hawks, falcons and buzzards away from my chickens. I'm planning on trenching the perimeter fence line and cementing in 2" of the fence to help keep the coyotes and skunks from digging under the fence.

More progress today!

1) Painted the walls the final color...semi gloss white
2) finished urethaning the subwall frame
3) installed subwall frame
4) installed hardware cloth on the subwall.

I got a fair amount of work done this afternoon after work.

1) Installed the floor tile
2) installed the baseboards
3) finished the nest boxes
4) installed the freshly sanded and urethaned nest box lid and installed the lid handle.

I only got 1 picture taken this evening when the sun was still up. This is a shot of the floor tile install in progress.

I'll have more picts to show tomorrow in the morning.
