I got 4 Cochin chicks that hatched, and 2 of the Black Mottled d'Uccles. The chicks that hatched out of the Cochin eggs don't seem to match the description written on the egg they came out of though. A Cinnamon Red marked egg hatched, a Frizzled Cochin hatched (Looks like a Black Mottled though, and does not have frizzled feathers), an unmarked egg hatched (chick is solid white, so I'm guessing White Cochin?), and I have a little solid black chick, yet you didn't send any eggs marked Black Cochins. One chick hatched solid yellow with a black strip down it's back. It is developing much slower than the others as it hatched with some sort of strange mass on it's abdomen that just finally disappeared day before yesterday. But it's healthy and doing good, just growing slower. I think I see white feather tips on the wings. I was hoping that that chick is my Cin Red? But I don't know what they look like as chicks, do you have a picture? I love these little chickies though, they are sooooo cute! I just love talking to them and snuggling with them. Sadly, most of the Seramas made it all the way up to where the eggs were rocking and peeping, but none of them pipped. I was so sad when I checked the eggs afterwards and saw that nobody made it.

If I had the money, I'd try again, but I'm so broke my checkbook has gone on strike. But I'm wondering about the Cochin colors that I had hatch? Here is a pic of the little angels that hatched:

I would like to view current auctions and place bid, but I have no idea how to get to the current auction listings to even place bids. Can someone please un-confuse me.

Hey I hate ya didnt get any serama to hatch I haven't had good luck with them incubating but have had great hatches under broodies with shipped eggs. The Frizz pen had smooth hens with a frizz roo, the hens were black mottled (which explains the mottled chick) and one white hen with a White frizz roo (which explains the yellow chick) I've got some of the cin reds in the incubator now but I can't remember to save me what they looked like as chicks. I can't remember off the top of my head what all I sent you, I've gotta find my record book in a few, gotta ship some out. I'll look and see what all I sent.

Ok, that would be great. So, if I read what you wrote right then both the Mottled chick AND the White chick that hatched carry the frizzle gene?
