No, these were from my own flock. I will possibly get my shipped eggs next week.

Me me me! These babies will be added to the flock for colored egg layers. It'll be fun to keep tabs on them.

I'm doing homegrown eggs too, in between shipped eggs. Besides, my country's so geographically small even the ones I get shipped won't win any competitions

I candled them again on Sunday, still 9 out of 20 viable. The reason I candled them on Sunday was that I woke up, thought "wait it's Sunday and my eggs will hatch on Tuesday!" only to remember that yes, they're due Tuesday... But not THIS Tuesday! They still have a week to go!
I need to slow down a bit, too many projects at once

That's a lot of eggs you're working on. What do you do with all your chickens? I started with 10 eggs under a broody, only 5 are viable now. They are set to hatch around Monday, so I'm right around your timeline.

Checked on the 3 broodies this morning, still going strong, no chicks yet.

I did see one of the BOs in Sweety's nest box bay, so she had a few extra eggs she couldn't cover. I pulled the ones that weren't under her and candled them. 2 of 3 were developing so I popped those 2 in the incubator.

One girl was missing at night check, so she might be on a nest somewhere. I'll be looking for her in a bit.

I'll also be candling the now 10 eggs in the incubator later today too. The ones that are further along I'll pop under the other two girls, Reese and Socka. If/when I find the new broody's nest I'll put the less developed eggs in her nest.

Not in the hatch-along, sorry. They have to hatch by 4/18, and you mentioned setting some to hatch the week after, so were starting your own hatch-along. There's other related contests though you can see on Page 1 that perhaps you can get in on.

Just a hunch, but I'm on the list too despite also not participating. For me its cuz I replied to the thread, pretty sure they pinged anyone who chatted in here.
