shay20 I picked up my eggs from the Post Office today (Ameraucana and turkey eggs). The eggs are beautiful and clean . . . and all arrived safely (well-packaged). Thank you!

This is why the thread was shut down before. There was a very similar situation to this, and then a lot of chatter about who won what and why. At that point, the group decided that we take bids up until the time of the beginning of the auction. So for example, if an auction started at 3 am, we would accept bids up to 3 am, but not at 3:01. Does that make sense. I think we need to agree for future reference on a set example. BUT as far as today's auction, I think it was handled very well and is a done deal (no more discussion needed). If you are uncomfortable with this, then I highly suggest that you participate in auctions on the BST which have the built in auction ender so that the human element is not an issue.
That is as much as I can offer. Sorry.
So to answer your question, klf73, yes a bid made at 11 would count.

That does make perfect sense schmmems. It's a 24 hr auction, not a 23 hour and 59 minute auction!
I want to offer 6+ Buff Orpington eggs. I will send them Monday morning. So whatevers laid this weekend you will get. They have been laying 3-4 eggs a day so you may end up with a dozen! I'll keep it updated as I collect the eggs. Fertility has been about 95% and I've been getting 100% hatches from my bator. I've been incubating for about 2 months now! These pics were taking a couple months ago. Thanks
I need an incubator...DH and I never fight...but we are now!
BTW...those that hatch chicks, are you usually able to sell them even though they are straight run? I keep telling him when we get to our limit in our own coop, if I hatch more I will sell them...might not make any money, but even if I broke even...it's something I enjoy ya know?
I'm watching the auctions here, CL and ebay, but I can't seem to spot an incubator that I want and can also afford...

great, thank you. I wasn't around when the last one got shut down, I had quit incubating so I stopped looking
. I would hate to have it shut down and agree something needs to be in place to prevent any future issues. Thank you for clarification
