Thank you, this is my baby girl, who is now 9. She was around 3 here. She is with my DH first dog ever, his name is Tonka and what a spoiled brat he was. He had enough personality that he could have shared with other dogs. He was so fun. Really miss him. Oh, and aren't all of you lucky, you get to see my messy bedroom. LOL.

You call that messy? I call that caotic organization. lol My entire house looks like a cluttered mess, because of all Chloe's toys & dogs... lol But it is organized and clean, even when it doesnt look like it. lol So no worries on a messy room.

I kinda like the fact that basic mess ups in languedge are changed... lol Can you tell I havnt had enough coffee yet? lol I know how to spell really I do, but my brain is taking forever to get to work today. lol

I love Pom's but my husband says NO!!! lol His mother breed and raised Pom's when he was a kid... He says never again.

When I was a kid, my grandparents had two Pom's, Gizmo, and Giesha. Loved those two... But they both passed away a little under a year after we lost my Grandma to Lukimia. They were my grandmothers dogs and had nothing wrong, just heart broke. It was a very sad time.

cheryl98117: Cheryl, what a sad story about your grandma and her dogs. I can't believe how much personality Poms have. Tonka was gorgeous. HE was a big pom though. He was a "backyard" bred one and did not have papers. It was funny, we saw both of his parents, they were small, but Tonka was large - about 10 lbs. He was my DH choice for his first dog ever. He was a city boy with a horrible upbringing that was never allowed to have pets. So Tonka was his first OWN dog. When we met I had "Spuds" who turned DH around about dogs. Spuds melted DH heart and opened it up for more and more and more pets.

My DH has a similar story. HE personally was not allowed pets, only his mother, and the dogs were hers, but him and his brother did all the work. My DH finally got his first pet as a gift for his 30th B-day, to bad Dh doesnt like cats, cause that what was given to him. He got his first dog as a tip while delivering Pizza two years ago. She's an Aussie / Rottie mix, and is the biggest love, but OH so protective! Great dog! So now we have three dogs, an 11 year old Chow / german shepard mix "Dusty" She is my baby, then there is Wheazy our mini Dachsund, and Kona my DH's dog. We are expecting an "oop's" litter from Wheazy, but at least they are pure bred and both parents are from show stock and registered... Ugg... Puppies are due in less than two weeks... They are due aprox. around the 6th of November... Yeay happy Birthday to me! I get pups as an early gift from the dogs...

We also have two foster mares who should be leaving mid November, then our two personal equines Lacy and Teagan... Then the four pullets who are holding out on me I swear it! I'M STILL waiting on eggs! Grrr!!!

Silly girls need to figure it out. I'm SICK of store bought eggs... Oh and then there are tjhe 8 or so chicks I will be picking up from Illia when they are ready.

Ok I'll stop rambleing now. lol

Alrighty.

I've got 1 Wheaten/Blue Wheaten Ameraucana, 1 Easter Egger (

) 5 Olive Eggers (2 were not supposed to be though) and still some more pipping and zipping.

But, that's the point of this hatch. . . To see who needs to be "cleansed" longer and who's actually purebred. Thankfully through the long weeks these eggs have been incubating, though, my girls have been "cleansing" even longer.

So, with this new batch after these chicks, I'm pretty darn sure everyone will hatch out just as I expected to be.

No, I love rambeling and learning about others. Exciting on the puppies...how fun. Oh, and btw...there was a past topic on biting dogs - the only dog I have ever been bitten by is a dauchsy - at a show - and I had asked permission to pet. I put my hand forward for her to sniff me, she latched onto my finger and I was holding a dauschund in the air. I have known some nice pit bulls (would never ever have one and I don't trust them), known rotties, dobbies (I knew a nerd dobbie - pocket protector and all). Crazy.

My girls are holding out on me also. I have 10 girls and are only getting 4 eggs a day. I think they know they will not be culled as they are pets with perks. DH would never cull his girls.

My DH came from an alcoholic/abusive famly. His mother died when he was young. Long, icky story. But anyway, my Spuds-dog brought him around and one day he comes to me and says: "I want a dog". I say great, what kind. "I want a pomeranian". My response: "Huh?". Mind you DH is 6 somethin' and over 200 lbs and is "tough-guy" personality. "Really, a Pom?". Yep, that is what he wanted...so we got Tonka. If I wasn't careful, he would bring home every lost puppy and kitten and chicken and goat and piggy.....etc, he could (he definitely would be a hoarder).

We have foster cared for kittens - from our local rescue - many summers in a row. I had - at one time - 11 bottle baby kittens - all from different litters. We are taking a break from this this summer. I understand you helping out the rescue ranch....I try to help as much as I can too, here local.
