Just noticed my roos foot is terribly swollen! I took the following pictures. I didn't see any scab or wound but the nail on the one little toe was black.

I haven't had a problem with it myself, but from previous threads I have read it does look like it. However, it seems like I remember there would be a healed over scab or something on the swollen area which would be the entry site of the bacteria causing the swelling. Could it possibly be an injury like a sprain? Does he limp? Do a search for bumblefoot in the search box and you will find more pics and surgery techniques to get rid of it.

Thanks I saw that, but unfortunately I don't see a plug to pull out.

You may have caught it early, before the plug has developed.

I would PM ruth, she is the author of the bumblefoot surgery page and could probably give you some insight on how you should proceed.

Well the plug is caused by a bacteria, an infection, so if you caught the problem before the infection has really gotten into the pad of his foot maybe that's why you don't see the plug yet.

However, I'm not 100% sure as I've never had to deal with bumblefoot, like I said... PM ruth.
