Hey Jimmy,

Number 2 and the last one I believe to be black. I see you might have one Lav in there but, it's too soon to tell. Lav babies have bright yellow bellies

The others are blues or splashes.

Watch your humidity levels b/c number 2 black looks like he might have a distorted right foot from too much humidity. Just a thought but, I've seen that happen when you exceed 55% humidity with the orps.

They are all very very very CUTE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hope you like they way they are coming out. My DH thinks that the Araucana cross is a Cuckoo Maran/Araucana. Which means you might have an olive egger instead of a teal blue layer. That will give you an interesting mix of eggs

These pictures were taken an hour ago so lets see how big they get in a few days.....lol

Hi,

It depends on the breeds. For Silkies and BantiesI do 60-65% But for Araucana's and Orps I never exceed 55%. I'm no expert by any means but, have done enough hatches to know with certain breeds you need to do different things. I coached a woman in Ma that bought 2 dozen eggs from me and some were Araucana's with the tufted death gene, Out of 24 she got 20 chicks. Not bad for being transported and moved around alot....lol. But, She and I had the same incubator with an egg turner and a turbo fan. Do you use still air or a fan? Do you have a turner?
