I know there are several people here that have aquariums. In addition to that I know there have been a few people that have made suggestions to use aquarium heaters for keeping waterers thawed.
I found out that last week there's been a safety recall of Marineland's Stealth aquarium heaters. Turns out they have faulty wiring and are occasionally bursting and causing aquariums to break. It wouldn't surprise me if there was some leaking current based on a low voltage shock I was getting when I would do water changes on the tanks on a shelving unit I had before moving. I wasn't able to track down the source, but now I think I know.
Here's a link to the recall.
