A few photos of the new babies. I had 23 out of 29 eggs hatch...my own lines...so I consider that a pretty good hatch. I had a very dismal winter with shipped eggs so it was nice to finally have success and know that I can hatch

Sold the first 3 just a few minutes ago and hoping to sell a few more, grow a few out and of course, I'm setting more eggs in a week.

They are all so adorable I wish I could have one but can't have any in the house any more.

Lol yeah that is the only blackish one I got out of the bunch and the smallest. He is from my largest breeding group too - Cs and Bs.

I bought mine when they were between 2-5 weeks old. They all survived the trip being shipped and are doing great but for one that died today from other causes (I had it outside...my moms dog ate it...) I would buy them again at this age. Granted you don't know their adult colors or genders but I would probably prefer buying 3 chicks like this again than adults. I may ask the buyer I got mine from originally for more soon.

Mine will all be local sales - I don't ship birds, but I'm glad to hear others enjoy the mystery of what you might get with Serama chicks

I always ask for photos of the babies once they grow up so I can see. It's exciting.
