This structure began to fall away from the wall at some point in the past and it was shored up with the brace visible in the lower center of the photo. This room has not only florescent lights, but also a heat lamp. The "doors" on the front of the boxes open and can be latched. The empty area below the boxes may be a simple way to "clean" the boxes since the enclosed portion has a screen as a floor. Does anyone have an idea? Is this an incubator, a special area of chicks, or something else entirely? It is located, not in the main coop, but in the secondary building.
