I went to check on my duck (who is molting but doesn't like to leave her box) & saw one of the chickens in with her---- I went back later to check for an egg & sure enough there was an egg under my duck. What a laugh I got when I found all this down stuck to the egg. Just had to share. . . . .

Juliet (my broody little hen) had no eggs and seemed determined to sit in the nesting box all day. On Thursday, April 26, I was given a few eggs and gave her seven eggs to sit on. Yes, that is her happy face.
