1000001287.jpgThis spring they are moving to a tougher warmer in winter cooler in summer coop with a fenced yard with spire roof. This roof in the yard they are in now I have to knock snow off every storm. Slowly figuring out how to make things easier -

Cuddly chicken. My lavender Orpingtons are the friendliest chickens I've had in a long time. They weren't handled any more than the others but will walk up to us, let us pick them up, sit on our laps. I took one of them to a farm night for kids at our church and she just sat there and let the kids pet her.
