Got another black copper marans egg again today. This one is quite a bit darker than the first one I got and more uniformed (other was speckled). Far right is a RIR egg and far left is from what I was told is an amerucana, but it looks green to me.Either way I will be hatching some olive eggers and french black copper marans this spring!!!

I drove 3 hour round trip to get these French Black Copper Marans hens. Supposed to have gotten 3 but he decided to only sell the 2 and the 1 Americana.

Finished! 5W x 8L all pressure treated lumber. Used 3 inch deck screws to assemble. Still need to add wheels to make it mobile. Thinking about adding wheels all the way around, that I can engage and just tow it around with my mower.

Just wanted to show off my new Black Copper Marans rooster. Just got him today. He's 8 months old and has the copper eyes and feathered shanks. I am super excited to add him to the flock. The rest of my hens are just barnyard mix for eggs, but i hope to find some Black Copper hens for him.
