We found our first Buff Orpington egg this morning also, the egg was kind of small and lighter than I expected, the hens are 19 weeks old, We got the day old chicks on July 10th 2013. We have 10 BO hens and one roo, hope the hens all start laying soon, this is earlier than I expected! Will others follow soon? The dark brown egg on the right is from one of our 8 Cinnamons Queens. We have BCM's 3 weeks younger than the BO"S!
