    Keeping Seramas-advice needed

    Hi I live in southern ca and I keep them outside in their coop at night, Just like the other chickens no problem. We have about the same weather. Babies do fine hatching outside with the mama broody too.

    3 Broodies OH MY!

    I have a small coop with 6 Seramas, one roo and 5 hens. Three hens are broody. Only have room to separate one. Two hens are in the nest box side by side and one is in a dog crate in the run. Anyone have ideas on what to do with them? Thanks in advance....

    Run on a slope?

    Here is a pic of my slope and 3 coops. The run is behind the coops running all along the chain link fence with aviary netting overhead. A bobcat tried to get them once and he just bounced off the netting, freaked him out and I have never seen another one try it!:wee

    How much would you pay for high quality bantams ?

    Ever since the NewCastle scare the feed stores stopped getting chicks in so the private breeders raised their prices. I know we are not talking feed store quality but they went up across the board. I live in north San Diego county and everything is expensive here!😵
