I'm nearing the 48 hour point when my duck egg had external pip. I'm aware it can take some time to hatch, my question is it unusual for multiple others to hatch in about half the time? I can see inside the egg and it is still opening its mouth. I can't imagine it is a humidity issue if 3 others...

I'm devastated! I had so many duck eggs that seemed to be doing so well. One duckling hatched right on time with no issues. The second that started didn't make it. I woke up to a hatched duckling that seems to have trouble lifting its head or walking and the other eggs seem to have just died...
My duckling poked his bill through about 7 hours ago. There isn't a lot of movement but he is opening and closing his mouth every so often. Should I keep waiting or should I help?
I have the same issue, I have 18 and am leaning towards a resin 8×15 shed to convert. I can't seem to find anything else that will be enough room for them all
My duck laid her first egg today. I'm new to raising ducks and thought I had a little mote time. I do not have an incubator but it is arriving tomorrow so we placed it under a heat lamp. We left to run errands and when I got home to turn the egg it is hot to the touch... is it a lost cause 😔
