    Squatting when picked up

When my girls spread their wings like that, they want to be rubbed. I get in there between the feathers and give them a good 'ol scratching. They close their eyes and enjoy!!!!

Who else has had a grass impaction?

I recently lost one of my girls to what turned out to be an impaction of grass in her system. My girls love to graze, but my girl Sparkle must've been eating everything green she could find. I took her to the vet after she suddenly passed away a couple of weeks ago, I had to find out what...

Where do chickens like to be pet?

My girls like to be scratched and rubbed on their backs, necks, and near the tail feathers. When they come close, I reach my hand out and they squat down and open their feathers for a good old rub down. Close their eyes and apply force back to my hand like a cat would. Its awesome!

    When do hens become friendly?

What can I feed my 6 week old Pullets?

Oh, really. I have been turned off from Mealworms in the case of my geckos because of malnutrition. I did notice that their poop was drier and larger when I gave them the worms... is that okay? Can they have a few worms every day, or is it more of a treat? And you didn't mention if you gave...

    Favorite *Clean* Chicken Waterer?

<<< I really like this! I change my chicken's water 3 times a day because of the potential health risks. Gosh it would be great to not have to worry.
