When my girls spread their wings like that, they want to be rubbed. I get in there between the feathers and give them a good 'ol scratching. They close their eyes and enjoy!!!!

Been getting 1 per hen everyday. I added a light to their enclosure and set it to come on at dusk and stay on for 2 hours. They also have a doghouse heater in the coop.
My girls like to be scratched and rubbed on their backs, necks, and near the tail feathers. When they come close, I reach my hand out and they squat down and open their feathers for a good old rub down. Close their eyes and apply force back to my hand like a cat would. Its awesome!
