    K-12 Chickens, I'm assuming Blondie is egg-bound because she only visits the nesting box when she is ready to lay an egg. I will put her in a warm bath. Thank you for your help.

    It's been over 12 hours and my beloved hen, Blondie, hasn't moved out of the nesting box. Her feathers make her appear all puffed up. And I noticed the red comb on top of her head is shriveled up, not plump like her sisters. We've had the girls for over a year and I've never noticed this...

    Hi Shana09! I hope you find the stash of eggs your chickens have been laying. You say you've been rearranging the flock quite a bit and I know chickens are sensitive to that. Maybe they are protesting until you show them that they are there to stay! Lisa
