    Had to start all over...

    Out of 8 eggs that made it to lockdown, 5 hatched. I ended up with 2 100% all black chicks and 3 with yellow combs and all black down w/buff spotting in down, not on skin. Skin is 100% Black on all 5. Healthy and hearty in the brooder. Day 25 for 1egg and 23 for the other 2

    Help! What's going on with my two chickens?

    Get a bottle of Nutri-Drench costs about 3$ and some change. Get a Medicine syringe with a plastic nipple on it and a piece of fish tank/air tubing and cut into a 2" length.     I just candled my eggs in my big incubator, out of the first 6 from 2/16, 3 have chicks inside 2/3rds the way growing and out of the other 8 from the 19th 4 have visible growth as well. Should I toss the others or give em a few extra days?
