Do you think this is a secondary infection or a direct cause of the cancer. I’m bringing her back to the vet wensday hopefully to find out and get her some medicine
I brought her in into uga vet in Athens because I was concerned of an infection in early April because a soft shelled egg had burst inside of her while she was trying to lay and she had been laying weird eggs for a while but acting fine. They did an mri and found a large mass in her ovaries and...

So I have a 5 year old chicken that has a history of soft shelled, no shelled, and weird mishapen eggs. She has just laid an egg after not laying any eggs for 3 month that is so gooey and hard. When I cut it open it has weird layers like an onion.
She’s been to the vet and...
My almost 3 silkie rooster just pooped some strange snot like yellow mucus with blood in it. I'll include some kind of graphic pictures below. He has normal solid poops this just seemed to come out of nowhere does anyone have any idea what it means?
With my experience roosters are big babies if you do decide to get rid of him I'd get a rooster as a chick and hand raise him and give him loves of cuddles so he'll see you more as family. Since he's still young I'd still try and work with him
I want to get a tatto of my chickens foot I heard acrylic paint is non toxic and it will just wash off her foot.(I'm going to do a stamp of her foot like they do with dogs lol.
I would try spending more time out in the yard and hand feeding with something he really likes. Him also seeing you being friendly with the other chickens will also calm his nerves. Maybe theirs a predator or dog out running around that's been putting him on high alert. Most of the time chickens...
I'm wondering if this has anything to do with what we're feeding our hens and their breeding to mass produce eggs. I never new how great and kind and funny chickens could be before her so I hope to take better care of my 3 year old silkie as well as her in the future (my silkie is doing fine...
So my almost 5 years old hen has been acting lethargic so I took her to the uga vet Here in gerogia last wensday night because I know chickens can die just from a few day as soon as any symptoms arise. Her crop was really full and distended and the night before that she had a soft shelled egg...
