    Ok, so it's been awhile....little Oreo has been acting normal but her belly is growing, she has lost a good deal of weight and is no where near as active as she was. Doesn't seem to be in pain but I'm afraid if I let her go any longer she will be in pain

    I guess a better question would be if it's something that could potentially get better or kind of a sure outcome? I'm doubtful about that but figured it can't hurt to ask

    So I don't think it's as big but it feels a bit firmer than last night. She was splashing in her pool for half an hour and then went right back to eating .Would a hernia cause her pain?

    So, she did have some scabbing but it looked like it was from her poo sitting on her skin. It didn't appear to be discolored, but I put bluecote on and now can't tell. I was reading about aspirating the area to try to see if it is acites, but I'm not sure exactly where to insert the needle?

    It appeared very quickly. Can anything be done if internal laying and would she continue to lay?

    Thank you! Just posted there as well. She is still laying eggs daily. I thought about a hernia, as it does seem larger on one side. Not sure if that is something that would come on somewhat suddenly? I read about water belly as well but would have thought she would have started to deteriorate...

    Thanks so much! We built them a wind shelter and lined it with straw. Hoping they use it!
