    Hen with mites....permetherin?

    I have a hen with mites but where I live no treatment specific for chickens is available. I have some general insect killer dust that is 5% permetherin. Can I use this on the chicken?

    Yes she has been with a rooster constantly. The rooster she was with died. We brought another one and I seen them mating (with her vent up) correctly the same day. I hope that makes sense i mean she was like accepting. :rolleyes:

    Comb color change

    We have had a rough time trying to start raising chickens here:barnie. Today we found a buff cochin Cockerell and he looks very healthy. When I got him home and first let him out his comb was bright red as in the first picture below.... within one hour his comb has this dark tint to the edges...
