    Putting ducks in dirty pond?

I think the only danger is tiny little frogs in there. So should I just keep em in the kiddy pool? Oh and I am afraid to free range my poultry because there are hawks and owls and coyotes and such around.

    Putting ducks in dirty pond?

Hi byc, I am going to be getting some saxony ducks (full grown i think) and I have a few questions. First, can I mix them with the chickens I will be getting? Do they fight? Does the nesting boxes work the same? Second, do they use the same feed chickens do or do they have there own feed...

    Does this sound legal?

I just looked at a couple of definitions and it looks like they are legal. Chickens are domesticated animals and if I am using them for pleasure and treating them with care then they are considered pets. And I think that they are ordinary so I think they would be legal.:D

So what I am asking is, do you think chickens could be considered an ordinary domestic pet? I am not using them for profit so I...

Hello guys! I am hoping to get chickens this Spring so I need to start thinking. I do not know what type of litter/flooring I should use. I thought about sand, and I also looked into the deep litter method but I don't know which one to choose. I still need to check if my town will let me have...
