    So I have a silkie rooster who has a swelled up face and a little bit of bubbles coming from his eyes.. My whole flock came from a hatchery and hasnt has any contact with any other fowl so what could it be?

    Today I was sitting down with my flock and all of a sudden I start getting flogged by what I thought was a hen. Even after I got up she/he started attacking my leg! It's about 19 weeks old can you help?

    I went today to the feed store and asked the guy what's the best feed for a mix flock of layers,bantams,seasonal layers, and roosters. He told me scratch would work best and add a calcium supplement on the side!

    well I think it depends with the wheather I ordered my chicks in the winter so they threw in extras for added warmth and since it's getting hotter I doubt they'll add few if any
