Dealing with the same with a Cornish cross. Breaks my heart. I’ve been doing nutradrench and electrolytes. Made a slurry of the feed and added oregano and brewers yeast. I understand it’s a vitamin deficiency.
Hi!
I bought 4 Narraganset turkey's back in April from the feed store. I was hoping for heritage turkeys that I could keep for a few years. Now I'm thinking they might be BBs.
Anyway, about a month ago one hen started swelling in her feet. Not bumble, changed feed, soaked, wrapped...
Hi! So I just got a mini 7-egg incubator. I want to incubate duck eggs. I have 3 hens and 3 drakes. My hens are laying, but they aren't broody. Being ducks I'm fairly confident most eggs will be fertile, but how do I know for sure? Do I just put them in the incubator and see what happens...
Please let me know if you have any ideas what is wrong. I have an older hen I rescued. I don't know her exact age. I've had her with my flock for a year now. She's bug free, comb looks good, good appetite, no weird respiratory noises or other noises, poop looks fine.

I've read on this site...
I have 6 pekins (3 drakes, 3 hens) and one lone drake Rouen. It looks like the Rouen has been ousted from the flock. Tonight he went to bed in the run with the chickens rather than the ducks. I notice the male pekins pick on him in the pool and chase him a lot. I'm wondering if the pekins...
I have a new flock of 5-8 week old chicks. Yesterday I put the finishing touches on the run, and opened the door expecting my brood to dash outside in search of sun, dirt and worms. Alas, they wouldn't come out. So, one by one, I placed each on the down side of the ramp and nudged them into...
