Getting eggs from non-broody ducks

Hi! So I just got a mini 7-egg incubator. I want to incubate duck eggs. I have 3 hens and 3 drakes. My hens are laying, but they aren't broody. Being ducks I'm fairly confident most eggs will be fertile, but how do I know for sure? Do I just put them in the incubator and see what happens? Say wait 8-10 days and see if something develops? If not then put a new egg in? Seems a bit tricky with the mini incubator... Thanks for any advice!
