you shouldn't have a problem, silkies really are determined moms! Two of mine just went broody in the middle of winter. making the nest boxes nice and cosy seems to help too.
I have her in a spare room in the house so I'm monitering her real close and I know she isn't having anything without me removing her, and not even water then :(
