Sadly she died a couple days ago. Thanks for all you’re help everyone but sadly we couldn’t help her.

No punctures or rips in the crop itself but the skin around the crop are the parts causing the bleeding we think.

We sprayed her with the spray we had, and she jumped out of the coop pretty quickly. She’s already been drinking quite a bit. Her wound is just dripping blood but there are no cuts or punctures in her wound that we can see. I can’t do much for her because we have no supplies for surgeries...

Also we have no vet that can treat chickens where we live.

We have a spray wound care from a feed store from a past injury. Blood is dripping from the wound. She’s moving around quite a bit and ran away from me when I caught her. She’s mostly sitting hunched over. She also got very watery poop running out of her vent.

Please somebody help. I’ve never had a chicken with this bad of an injury

My hen was attacked yesterday and we found her in the coop last night with some tail feathers missing so we thought that was the problem. We realized today that it’s not. Pleeeaaase help. What do we need to do and can we even save her? If it would be better for her we’re willing to put her down...

I’mWow sounds amazing! I know when my austrolorp started laying I was amazed at how big the egg was. All of hers have been double yolkers from the very beginning of her laying. So happy for you! ;):celebrate

I agree with what you said and that’s what we would have done but she was in bad shape. It was the only option we had at the moment, but I wouldn’t advise anybody else to do the same without taking caution because it could cause pain for the chicken.

One of my chickens was bitten by a dog once and had similar symptoms of seizing, not eating, and not drinking. We got her in a coop alone with food and water, kept it ventilated and dry and relatively shady in there for her. We poured hydrogen peroxide on the wound, then put triple antibiotic in...

So I’ve been thinking about maybe line breeding some of my chickens, but not the usual kind of line breeding. I want to line breed two chickens of different breeds. Possibly a silkie and a mottled Cochin or silkie and a Mille fleur D’uccle, but I was wondering if it’s safe to line breed like...

My mother is scared to death of my roos and when she helps take care of them they take advantage of that fear. This is going to help our problem so much
