    I've been sick for several days, so my husband has been gathering eggs, and doing the food & water. When i went out today, my white hen was back to normal! Still haven't gotten an egg from her, but she looks so much warmer now! Thanks everyone!

    thanks for all your help, we finally got her a smaller spot within the coop for just her and her five eggs, and now she is not sitting on them! First time in six days! Is there a way to see if there are babies in there?! Hmm!

    How to Break a Broody Hen

    I have one that has been broody (just learned that is what it is called) for two days, if I wait 19 more she should be done? I never see her get up, but she has everyone's (all six) eggs under her lol. I've just been pushing her off each day. I even put treats in the pen and she didn't come out!
