    Seriously?!?!? I live in a desert climate, we reach as high as 110 during the summer!!!!! What will that mean for my hens?!?!? How should I prepare?!?

    Alright, I just had to use tough love and get them in the coop for the night, lol. They wanted to go no further than the window and roost there again.     Yes, that's where they usually roost. I have a bigger branch that I need to cut shorter that I was going to put in there instead. I just need to figure out how to secure it. I'll post a better pic of the roost.

    Well.... Trying not to get too excited but I think she is laying right now!!!!! She is inside our old dog house and seems cozy!!! Maybe she was throwing such a fit because I didn't have boxes ready!!!! I guess the dog house is getting filled with wood shavings!!! :)
