Chicken lacks balance, sits on heels with both legs forward

Quote: ~Okay, thanks so much. I have been looking up everything I can find about Marek's. It's like she has the leg issues but I don't think she is actually "paralyzed" as they say with Marek's mainly because she can still scoot around on them. Also, I have read the chicken's eyes turn gray...

A good basic one to put into their water is "Wazine 17." You can get it at any feedstore and I would treat maybe twice a year. Wazine 17 only kills large roundworms so I would also get Safeguard paste and give each chicken a pea sized drop on a treat maybe once or twice a year (interchange...

Man, ok, thanks! I am going to start the vit b and the polyvisol today. I will keep all posted! (she seems to be getting worse....when she extends her neck for a drink her neck just falls and plunges into the water....I'm having to hold her close and tucked under my arm for support so she can...

    worms??

Quote: Yes, definitely try to get something soon. And my Peaches got worse before she got better so don't give up. And the vet said to worm all your chickens every 30 days or so and to rotate the brand so they won't get immune. Yes, it is very difficult to find a chicken vet....and I don't...
