    Should I euthanize?

    I have a 6 week old chick that was pecked by the others so bad it's skull is showing. Is it possible for it to survive? it is in a box on my counter now, I put some neosporin on its head. It looks miserable,It is standing all fluffed up with its eyes closed.

    no tail bone

    My friend gave me some easter egger eggs to hatch from her flock. Only one hatched, and it has had issues with pasty butt, while cleaning it's but, I realized it has no tail bone at all. It just has a gap between its bones back there! I wonder if thats what is causing the pasty butt.

    *-I was pretty surprised myself! they both sat on the eggs together, and now they have 6 babies! they haven't moved away from the dog house yet, I think they are still trying to hatch the rest of the eggs. think there are 8 left.

    pasty butt help!!

    I have a 1 day old easter egger chick, it was the only one to hatch. I saw today its whole butt and umbilical were covered in dry poop, I cleaned it off with warm water, but when I was picking the poop off, I made its umbilical bleed a little!! I poured more warm water over its butt, blowdryed...
