    I got these 2 pullers from Tractor Supply exactly 1 week ago. They were sold as copper marans. The chick in the first picture looks almost the same as when I brought it home, it hasn’t grown much in size or developed much wing feathering as the 2nd chick from the same batch in the 2nd picture...

    I've had chickens for 10yrs and have never seen anything like this. I have 13 hens and 2 roos.     Not sure if she's laying. All my existing hens give me brown eggs but I had a white egg show up yesterday. It is either hers or a new pullet just starting to lay. The only thing is...the white egg I found was a normal to small size egg....not a tiny 1st egg that a pullet would lay, but I can't...

    Seems to me that if she was going to lay that she would have started by now. There are always exceptions to the rules though. I've never heard of a hen never laying. Keep us posted.

    How old is the hen. If she is young, it just may take her some time to start laying.
