    Yeah double yolkers! Nice! This is my egg data. Largest 68.5g (double yolk). 4+ weeks in.

    Weve got 25 Amerecauna hens. Had a few large-XL sized eggs, but only a handful. Im wondering how long till most hens start to produce their full sized eggs?

    Injured hen won’t lay

    Poor hen :( Im not an expert but I would guess she is very stressed out still and her body is diverting resources to her healing process rather than laying. Once her stress is reduced and her body is healed she will likely be back to normal. I hope that she makes a full recovery!

    Whats a fair price to ask for my hatching eggs or chicks?

    $3 to $5 is the fair price range online for buff orpington. If you're selling locally and in person you can probably easily get $5 a piece, or more! I think most people are happy to pay a little extra to support local folks. happy chickening
